To really get into the Altador Cup spirits we have asked one supporter of each team to do an interview with us. In this interview they were asked several questions about the famous cup. Here you can read the questions and their answers.

Which do you consider yourself more like: a Jelly Chia laughing at all those too serious, a Snow Yooyu chill and calm, a Slushie Slinger providing nourishment and encouragement to your teammates and others, a Techo Fanatic screaming cheers to keep your team motivated?

Who is your MVP on your team and why? (ie: On Altador, Lyvon is my favorite teammate, but Foltaggio scores most my goals, so Foltaggio would be my MVP)
Zo Junior is the MVP on our team, with Krell Vitor my personal favorite. I hope TNT changes their mind and doesn't retire him this year.
If the lands of Neopia who currently do not have a join-able team were to join the AC, would you abandon the team you play for every year for them or would you'd join if you don't have a favored team? If yes, which land would definitely have you signing up? (ie: Jelly World, Lutari Island, Neopia Central, Neovia, Qasala etc)
Nope. HW4Life.
If you were to take just one of the playable Yooyu's home as a Petpet, which one would it be?
Fire Yooyu for sure.
For the Yooyu's that aren't in the Yooyuball Game, which would you want to be added to the game and what would you think would be its ability? (ie: Water Yooyu leaving trail that causes following players to slide making stealing a little more difficult)
A Haunted Woods Yooyu. This Yooyu would have to be scored in your own goal to count as a point, and scoring in the opponents goal would give them a point.
If one of your pets could be an actual player in the AC, who would it be and why? Would this affect which team you'd choose to play for?
Slenderdraik would. He could fill the same position as Crade Talvos, except with more tendrils and horror. And no, he'd stick with Haunted Woods. He's probably far too creepy for any other team to want him.

On my second side, it would be 1 Darigan Citadel and 1 Virtupets
Do you have a favorite player on the TNT Staff Tournament? Who and why?
Yes. DJ Skellington. Again, HW4Life.
What do you like to do around Neopia in the off-season, when the Altador Cup is not going on?
I help keep the HW board boosted so it doesn't fall off during the off season. I also hang around the Food Club Board and work in the Caption Contest, Storytelling Contest, and Poetry Contest. Gradually, I work on my stamp collection.

I'm a solid 8 (a slightly-less-crazy Techo fan getting a cooling Slushie!).
Which do you consider yourself more like: a Jelly Chia laughing at all those too serious, a Snow Yooyu chill and calm, a Slushie Slinger providing nourishment and encouragement to your teammates and others, a Techo Fanatic screaming cheers to keep your team motivated?
I'm absolutely a Slushie Slinger for KFC (Kreludor For the Cup, Team Kreludor's chatboard--please feel free to stop by!).
Who is your MVP on your team and why? (ie: On Altador, Lyvon is my favorite teammate, but Foltaggio scores most my goals, so Foltaggio would be my MVP)
I score most of my goals with Ealyn Hawkshanks; it used to be Qlydae Wegg, before we traded for Hawkshanks and changed formations. Many of my teammates cycle through Wegg, Hawkshanks, and Zenor Kevix, though. If you're asking about the team itself, however, the MVP is certainly Derlyn Fonnet, in my eyes. She's our only defender now--and she's great at both it and being the team captain!

It would take another wacky scheme of TNT forcing Kreludor to sit out for me to swap teams, but if we were allowed to play some sort of "minor league" as a pre-Cup warmup or as a one-week winter mini-event that featured only Neopian lands who are not yet in the AC, I would definitely be excited to play for Bogshot, a swamp just outside Brightvale. Lunaria, another of Neopia's moons, would of course be exciting as well.

I'm rather short, so a Faerie Yooyu would be helpful to reach those nooks and crannies in my house that I can't get at!
For the Yooyu's that aren't in the Yooyuball Game, which would you want to be added to the game and what would you think would be its ability? (ie: Water Yooyu leaving trail that causes following players to slide making stealing a little more difficult)
The Tyrannian Yooyu would be ideal, if it served as a kind of Bludger: throw it at an opposing player and if they catch it, it stuns them for a few seconds and they drop the Yooyu for you to get. Maybe goaltenders could have extra padding in their mitts to prevent this--it'd be quite broken, otherwise--but that might be a fun new element to add.
If one of your pets could be an actual player in the AC, who would it be and why? Would this affect which team you'd choose to play for?
Only Zalactic, my Zafara, is remotely athletic in the slightest. I find it difficult to believe he'd play for anyone other than Kreludor, but if he decided to play for Virtupets (being painted Starry, after all), I suppose I could live with that. He'd be going down, though!

They all support Kreludor, but I think Koloe has a soft spot for Kiko Lake, Ramaj for Terror Mountain, and Qwy for Brightvale.
Do you have a favorite player on the TNT Staff Tournament? Who and why?
I don't have a favorite player any longer, seeing as they change so often, but I'll always root for the Kreludor player.
What do you like to do around Neopia in the off-season, when the Altador Cup is not going on?
I always participate in the other site events. Otherwise, I collect trophies, stamps, collectable cards, and avatars; restock occasionally (and pretty poorly!); and play/re-play a few games for fun, especially Usuki Frenzy, Neoquest I and II, and Pyramids.

Ehhh....cross between Snow Yooyu and Slushie Slinger. But if I had to choose, snow yooyu.

Teylor Nix for sure scores all my goals. Hes quick and nimble.

Faerie yooyu
For the Yooyu's that aren't in the Yooyuball Game, which would you want to be added to the game and what would you think would be its ability? (ie: Water Yooyu leaving trail that causes following players to slide making stealing a little more difficult)
Inflatable yooyu. When you hit it, it very slowly moves in one direction bouncing off things gently. No ability to float though.
If one of your pets could be an actual player in the AC, who would it be and why? Would this affect which team you'd choose to play for?
My island xweetok, Pendles11, would absolutely be on Mystery Island. But of course that spot is already taken by Selmon Weolf. Shes quick so I imagine she'd actually be a good goalie. This wouldn't affect me choosing a different team.

On my main, 2 for Mystery Island, 1 for Haunted Woods, 1 for Virtupets, 1 for Maraqua. My side has 1 for Faerieland, 1 for Terror Mountain, 2 for MI.
Do you have a favorite player on the TNT Staff Tournament? Who and why?
Senor Malo. Simply put, he makes the most points for my team pretty consistently.
What do you like to do around Neopia in the off-season, when the Altador Cup is not going on?
Work on goals aka stamps, neggs, bank amount...waiting for events, active on my guild, and staying active on Board 7.

5- I am excited for it to start, but its gets very repetitive very fast. It takes up so much time to try for all star!

Snow Yooyu chill and calm- I pick away at AC a little bit each day and hope I have enough points at the end for a stamp.

Mirsha Grelinek- She seems to be the player I end up moving the most.

Plushie- gets smaller and smaller the longer it is in the game because stuffing keeps falling out.

A combination of a Slushie Slinger and Techo Fanatic, cheering my VeePz teammates and sending them goodies along the way to help our fantastic players continue to play their best. I also like to visit the other Teams when possible, everyone needs some encouragement and goodies at times. :D

Only if I didn't have a favored team, which I do, would I join another team...possibly Lutari Island, always wondered about that strange place.

Really? I think they should add a Snot Yooyu if you really want players to be sliding around and wouldn't that just be so green...ewww!

I think they prefer to cheer, but Romepo might like to play in the AC. Of course, she'd probably scare off the other competitors...and possibly their fans. Think my pets shall stick to cheering from the stands.

Each of my pets supports a team, some are more specific and dress accordingly, but I make sure all teams are supported.

I guess Scrappy because she is so...scrappy. Plus, she gets consistently high scores.

I take care of my pets, do some customizing, join in other events, enter some contests, and try to do my list of dailies each day. I enjoy chatting on the boards with the friends I've made playing Neopets. :)
