Team Interviews
To really get into the Altador Cup spirits we have asked one supporter of each team to do an interview with us. In this interview they were asked several questions about the famous cup. Here you can read the questions and their answers.
Altador Cup IV
Altador
Interviewed Person: superbaseball9What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
Altador. Everyone is very nice there. I also love Altador in gereral. It's an amazing place full of adventure and history
What do you think are your team's strengths?
Coming together. We often rally each other and set off for a goal in mind.We are all friends and we never bash the other teams, although the occasional topic title may be a little mean
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Many agree on the team that we a full of newbies. When they join they look for a team and we some how get alot. Not that it's all that bad, its just some have no lcue what to do while other teams are breaking records.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
I'm in love with SOSD thisyear. I was hoping for the Roo's to put up more of a fight, but they are nearing our ranks. Plus something seems very fishy this year. I can't put my finger on it though
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I wish KI good luck and I want a Krawk Aid, Kiko Lake's kikos are funny, Meridell has an awesome offense but the ixi has a big head(sorry MDers) FL is our arch-enemy, LD can keep their sand but we'll take the sun, Shenkuu has a very depressing mynci, Krelundor has awesome twins, and that's about it really.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
Funny really, I've only been with Altador, I was going to join MD this year but I met so many friends last year I couldn't leave them. I've been in the AC since the begining, I love it alot
Which team do you think will win?
KI, I think they deserve it as long as the don't complain when if they lose. Shenkuu can have it in 2 years when Altador gets it next year.
How are you showing support for your team?
I have banners anywhere and everywhere. My desktop background is a picture of the famous team statue. I have avvies and signatures on other sites that are Altador.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
It's a tie between YYB and SOSD really. My current rank is 7, but I'm a few yyb's from going up.
Darigan Citadel
Interviewed Person: dariganeyWhat team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I joined Darigan Citadel. This team is probably one of my favorites. Our boards and team work is just so fun. I will always be a devotee plus we have a flying castle for crying out loud.
What do you think are your team's strengths?
We are known for our yyb skills and making lots of noise.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
We dont play slushie slinger because they dont have any flavor we like. They should make a DC flavored one. Maybe then we will play. Also our shootout showdown skills could use some work.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
Many people underestimated us this year. Sorry but the curse you all say is going to happen to us aint. We are a force to be reckoned with and if anyone thinks we are a walk in the park, think again.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I think all teams are great. I am super surprised how well weaker teams are doing. They sure can inflict damage to strong opponents.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
I have joined DC for 3 years. This would be my 4th year.
Which team do you think will win?
I think DC is very surprising team. We always have something up our sleeves. Krawk Island seems to be doing well. As for Kreludor they are starting to slip so I dont see them winning, but who knows.
How are you showing support for your team?
Well lets just say spending 12 hours on the computer is plenty. I am aiming for all star this year as usual.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
My favorite game would have to be YYB. I also do enjoy the mini games a lot. Make some noise would be my second favorite. I have hands of steel. This year its all star rank as always unless my hands fall off during the process. Currently Rank 13, though.
Faerieland
Interviewed Person: tiickledWhat team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I'm on team Faerieland, and I joined because I like faeries, Faerieland, faerie pets, and the color pink. :P
What do you think are your team's strengths?
We're not so stressed about winning that we can actually have fun. We know doing our personal best is what matters in the end. Prize points, hooray.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Too many people who don't try hard enough, and the fact that we get a negative connotation on the boards, by other users, so good players don't want to join us.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
I wish it was only single round robin instead of double, and I wish TNT would give us some inkling as to how the scoring works. And if second wins and first moves to seventh... again... you'll never be able to convince people that it isn't rigged, haha.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I wish most KIers weren't so mean.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
I've participated in all of the Cups, and I was on Faerieland every year, except last year, when I joined Roo Island because I wanted to see how it'd feel to be on a top team. Not as fun as I thought it'd be. Members of other top teams get mad at you.
Which team do you think will win?
Lots of teams have a good chance this year. I'm rooting for Shenkuu.
How are you showing support for your team?
By playing, playing, playing. I get at least 59 points per day.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
YYB is my favorite. My current rank is 9, but I AM going to make all star by the end, yay!
Haunted Woods
Interviewed Person: poogle__1What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
Haunted Woods! I like ghost pets and Zo Junior is awesome!
What do you think are your team's strengths?
We have Krell Vitor's strength and Zo Junior's speed, what more can you ask for?
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
My thoughts on that are passing and catching. Especially Wan Dirx.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
It's like a plot, except sports themed. ACIV is a fun, addicting and (very) competitive game. I just wish it was all year long.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
Well, I didn't expect so many teams beat Haunted Woods...
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
Altador. I liked their logo and they had a Poogle on their team (I like Poogles). I believe 3 years and I'm proud!
Which team do you think will win?
Probably Shenkuu. But, I'm still supporting Haunted Woods!
How are you showing support for your team?
Play a LOT of games! Let's hope that we can win again!
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
Shootout Showdown, because it's SO easy. If you are asking for my current rank, it's 1. If my favorite, 1. Because you can get an avatar.
Kiko Lake
Interviewed Person: twilight_king64What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I am on Kiko Lake this year. I decided to join this team because after being gone for a year, I believe that we have a very good chance of doing a lot better than previous years. I also like Kikos a lot!
What do you think are your team's strengths?
I think our greatest strength is our dedication to the team that really brings out the best in us. We are always trying our best no matter what happens.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Our team's greatest weakness is that we debate over things a lot, and everybody has their own opinions. I think it ends up killing valuable time that we could use for playing and helping our team.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
Well, I think it is the craziest one yet! There have been so many shocking results that nobody was ready for. It definitely shows that a match can go any way.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I think they all have their nice players and their rude players, their good times and their bad times. It is important that everybody respects the other teams.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
In the past, I have joined Maraqua, Kiko Lake, and Roo Island. I have been in all of the Altador Cups, but the only one where I stayed for the whole thing was ACIII.
Which team do you think will win?
This is very hard to answer. I think Krawk Island might win, but I do not want them to because I want all of the rumors about the Altador Cup being "rigged" to stop. Besides Krawk Island, I think Lost Desert has a very good chance.
How are you showing support for your team?
I go to the KLOWNS boards everyday and talk with all of the supporters. I also have a neoboard signature that says "Kiko Lake For The Second Tier".
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
My favorite game in the Altador Cup is Yooyuball. My rank as of right now (6/14/09) is Rank 9.
Krawk Island
Interviewed Person: jalhallaWhat team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I joined Krawk Island this year because I have supported them almost every year of the Altador cup so far. Also, I think we have a great chance of winning the cup. ;)
What do you think are your team's strengths?
We have incredibly devoted players, and a lot of them.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
To everyone who participated last year: You would KNOW our weakness was how full of ourselves we were, and that most of our team would NOT get off their high-horse. I'm very happy to say that this is not a problem anymore. We've all tried very hard to weed out any rude behaviour and I think we are a more respected team, now, because of it. Like most teams, I would say that we talk way to much instead of playing.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
Just stay ACtIVe and remember to play at least an hour of Yooyuball a day! ...But in all seriousness; I think this is going to be the most tense and closest year so far. We're just beginning the second week and there are already new team rivalries and surprises that usually don't reveal themselves so early in the tournament.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I don't want to name them, but some teams have caught the "Rude Fever" Krawk Island had last year. It was surprising to talk to some of these teams, because they were so nice last year. We were wishing one team goodluck, and they told us that our goodlucks were a ploy to distract them, plus various other ridiculous accusations.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
Unfortunately, My old account was frozen a few months ago, so I have to record to this: But I have participated in the Altador Cup every year. The first and second years I supported Krawk Island. For some unknown reason, I decided to play on Kreludor last year, but I'm back to KI this year.
Which team do you think will win?
I think Krawk Island has a great chance this year, but we have some really hard competition as well. Kreludor, Darigan Citadel, Shenkuu, and The Lost Desert teams are all proving that this year is going to be a tight finish.
How are you showing support for your team?
Besides spending unhealthy amounts of time Yooyuballing, I try and rally other boards (like the Avatar Chat and Battledome Chat) to get up and play!
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
After you play The ACIV games over and over, hours on end, the word "favorite" doesn't have a place anymore. xD I prefer to play Yooyuball because it only takes about 2 minuets (if you skip through the animation) and It's worth the most points to your rank and team. Plus, I can listen to an audio book or music while I play. After a while, scoring becomes second nature. I try and play at least 100 games a day. That way, I don't ware my self out but I'll still be able to make the All-Star rank by the end of the tournament. As of now, I'm on rank 9. :D
Kreludor
Interviewed Person: mega_painter2002What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I'm on Team Kreludor. I chose them because of my obsession for Grundos back during the first Altador Cup and Kreludor seemed the obvious choice.
What do you think are your team's strengths?
I think our determination to prove ourselves as worthy competitors really helps us to reach our potential.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
In terms of games, definately Slushie Slinger. That and our dodgy training centre.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
I think it's the most interesting Altador Cup yet. No team is safe; everybody has to work hard to win.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I've been very impressed with all the other teams; they've all stepped up to the plate and given it their all. Though I'm keeping my eye on Darigan Citadel; they'll be wanting revenge for our Day 1 victory.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
I'm a born Kreludork, so they have always been my first choice. However, I joined Krawk Island in ACII as I liked the look of the team. Whilst I have been around for all four ACs, I've only really played since ACIII.
Which team do you think will win?
Right now, it's anyone's game. Of course, I hope Kreludor win, but I also have a soft spot for Krawk Island.
How are you showing support for your team?
I'm playing as many games as I possibly can in a day, and maintaining my teams reputation on the boards.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
Definitely Yooyuball, though I do enjoy the odd game of Shootout Showdown. I'm Rank 5 right now, aiming for Rank 20 by the end of the tournament.
Lost Desert
Interviewed Person: waterfall_heartsWhat team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I joined Lost Desert this year. I don't really know why, like every year I had a really hard time picking a team. I guess I just like them all too much! When I finally managed to chose about 5-6 teams I would maybe joined, I suddenly felt an urge for joining Lost Desert, and ta-daa. It just felt like the right team for me this year I suppose. My decision is also a bit influenced by last year's Altador Cup. I really got a huge respect for LD, and already back then the idea of joining LD next year was spinning around in my head
What do you think are your team's strengths?
I think Lost Desert is over-all a very strong team. When I'm at the boards I see that people are very good at motivating each other, which is awesome. I also think that we have this really nice balance between chatting and playing, and we have good players for all of the games. Besides from that I think we're doing pretty good in YYB ^_^ If we want something bad enough, I know we can do it.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Isn't this where I'm supposed to say that my team has no weaknesses? Haha, oh well. As for games I don't really know. In my opinion, there is not really one game that we are especially bad at.. I'd wish we were more steady at games though. Some days we do great, and sometimes I look at the results and just have to scratch my head wondering what just happened. We have proven we're a good team, the problem is that we're not good enough each round. I don't really know what happens, maybe we underestimate teams or they overestimate us?
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
The Altador Cup this year is full of surprises and shocks, and I absolutely love it! How boring wouldn't it be if one team won everything? (at least for the other 14 teams). The teams seem to be more even this year, which is great!
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I have plenty of thoughts! First of all Mystery Island has really surprised me. I knew they were a strong team, but I was pretty stunned when they almost swept us the first day. Kreludor is also doing very well, along with HW, DC and Shenkuu. And then we have the teams that win something and lose something, doing fairly okay. To me they become pretty anonymous though. I feel bad for the teams who doesn't do that well, but I really admire their spirit. I don't know if I'd be able to keep it up if my team lost quite that much. (no offence ^_^)
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
This is my third year playing, but I wasn't really *playing* the first year so I don't know if it should count.. During ACII I joined Terror Mountain, pretty much because I live in a very snowy place and it kinda reminded me of home. The next year I had a hard time picking, but I joined Roo because of their unbelievably cute players. Which turned out not to be such a bad choice after all ^_^ As you see I don't really stay at one team years in a row. I guess it's because I like all teams, and I like to try different teams. Next year I have no idea what team to chose, maybe LD again who knows =)
Which team do you think will win?
I have no idea. I'd like Lost Desert to win, but I think Krawk Island will do it this year. They've been in the top for a long time now, maybe it's their turn now. But anything could happen, really. Maybe Kreludor, Darigan Citadel or Shenkuu will go to the top too. And of course Lost Desert, hehe.
How are you showing support for your team?
Honestly, I'm not doing a lot to *show* support my team. I don't have this fancy Lost Desert UL or something, and none of my pets have LD backgrounds. However, I really try to play all of the games every day to help my team. When I think of it, I use most of my sparetime playing. And I have LD is my siggy, yay! But mainly I just play.. yyb.. lots of yyb..
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
I definitely prefer YYB. It's actually the only game I'm good at. MSN just hurts my fingers. Really badly. And the S-key on my key-pad is gone, so if that letter pops up I'm in trouble, haha. No really, fingers are killing me after like 2 games, I have no endurance for such stuff. SS is okay, but kinda boring as it takes waaaay too long to finish a game. SOSD is okay though, too bad you need to play like 600 ++ games to gain rank. As for now, I'm rank 8, but I'm hoping to reach 20 before the ACIV ends. Now please excuse my terrible grammar! Maraqua

I am on team Maraqua. I joined this team beceause i like that land and that kind of neopets!
What do you think are your team's strengths?
I think to we are stong because we have lot of players who support Maraqua!
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Our weaknesse is Slushie Slinger!
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
We have a big chance to win because now we are going to play with not so good teams!
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
No, I will always support Maraqua!
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
This is my first year at AC and I will never join another team!
Which team do you think will win?
Krawk Island the are very strong!
How are you showing support for your team?
I play yooyuball a lot and i am active on boards!
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
My favourite game is Make Some Noise and my Rank is 1 but I want to be rank 3 at least! ^_^
Meridell
Interviewed Person: skallagrim What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
Meridell. I first came to Neopia around the time of the first Meridell-Darigan war. The attacks were brutal and against unsuspecting civilians so, I quickly decided to help protect the land under siege. It's been Meridell ever since.
What do you think are your team's strengths?
Togtherness really, Especially at the MAK board we're very good at supporting eachother, boosting motivation and making people feel like their effort is appreciated.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Numbers... I don't buy the TNT story that numbers are meaningless...I mean they say both that team size don't matter and that you can't hurt your team. It's pretty much impossible that both can be true.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
I'd like to score more than last year. And I hope others will be breathing down my neck trying to beat me. lady_star_kitten is doing a good job of challenging me :)
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I want them to lose when they face us, other than that, no.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
Meridell, Meridell and now Meridell. So this is my third year.
Which team do you think will win?
Difficult to say, Shenkuu, Lost Desert and Krawk Island looks strong.
How are you showing support for your team?
By playing as much as I can and trying to keep others motivated on the board when I have to take a break.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
Yooyuball, always yooyuball. Rank is All-Star
Mystery Island
Interviewed Person: krugman101What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I am on team Mystery Island! Because they are a great fun loving and amazing team! We can even step up to the plate and win some!
What do you think are your team's strengths?
Well I think that we are very strong in all of the tasks because we have a lot of players! Our strongest strength would be Yooyuball!
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Hmm, interesting our team weakest thing is probably shootout showdown
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
Just that we are a strong team with very high potential and we could take this cup if we work hard.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I have never been on another team. Always been a Mystery Islander since I first joined! The only one other team i like mostly because i am welcomed there is Maraqua. They are also like Mystery Island just maybe a little weaker.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
I have joined Mystery Island only in the past. I have really been in since the start but my other account got hacked.=[
Which team do you think will win?
Honestly?! Well from a non-biased point of view, I think Krawk Island will come in first and Mystery Island in second barely!
How are you showing support for your team?
I am in the guild!(MIYP) I actually participate and the last three years I am also active on the boards.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
Oh man my favourite game will have to be the new one! SOSD =]. I have school so its low at the moment. So far its 5!
Roo Island
Interviewed Person: stradus314What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I'm on Roo Island. I initially joined the Rooligans last ACIII partly because of a real-life NeoFriend that introduced me to the team and partly because I saw that Roo Island had a great reputation among the different teams. Ever since, I have grown to love the closely-knit community and of course, the puns!
What do you think are your team's strengths?
I believe that Rooligans have the most heart and dedication as well as an undying spirit when it comes to supporting the team. Moreover, it goes without saying that Roo Island has great sportsmanship. I think that we have the least incidence of enemy-bashing or bragging.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Well, since winning the cup last year, a lot of players have moved to other teams for fear of the so-called "cursed cup". Admittedly, we are definitely weaker this year for we lack the numbers we once had.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
Though I have only played one Altador Cup before (ACIII), I can say that this cup is by far very unpredictable. Unlike last year where powerhouses were already set and final outcomes could already be anticipated from the beginning, this year has a lot of surprises and upsets - which just adds to the overall excitement the Altador Cup brings!
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
I just wish we could put an end to all the rudeness and bashing. Granted, the occasional bragging adds a little fire to the pot, but it is a huge annoyance to see post after post declaring how this one team is superior over the rest. Uncalled-for rudeness not only destroys the fun for everyone but also very immature.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
As I have said, I have only started playing since the ACIII wherein I also supported Roo Island. The reason being that I stopped playing Neopets for a good 4 years and only came back last year just in time for the ACIII.
Which team do you think will win?
As it stands, it can still be anyone's game. However, some teams are already showing more promise than the others � Krawk Island, Shenkuu, Kreludor, Darigan Citadel and Lost Desert. For what it is worth, I want to see Darigan Citadel to win just so that we can say one team became champions twice!
How are you showing support for your team?
Well, I play A LOT. I also try to remain active and visible on our Roo board at the same time.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
If I had to choose, it would definitely be Yooyuball hands down. Button mashing for MSN is also fun as well as the new game, SOSD. The thing with SOSD is that I do find it easy and I actually have tried playing it with my eyes closed! On the other hand, SS is just too slow for me. Currently, I am Rank 13 and shooting for All-Star this year.
Shenkuu
Interviewed Person: whitefang257752, jakesway, bilkedWhat team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
jakesway - I am on team Shenkuu. My reason for joining this team is because of the wonderful environment displayed at last year's AC. Everyone was really nice and in the end I loved the friends I made, so therefore I rejoined Shenkuu. What made me join in ACIII was the culture that Shenkuu represented. I love the culture and the lifestyle.
What do you think are your team's strengths?
jakesway - Our team's strengths are our friendly and caring people who encourage everyone and the lovely dedication everyone has for the team. (Also our ninja moves are excellent!)
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
bilked - Personally, I think my team is a little weak at Slushie Slinger. It's a kinda tedious game to play repeatedly. But, as a whole, our team is strong, with other plyaers filling in for their comrade's downfalls.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
bilked - I think it's a very successful way to bring Neopia together in a great form of friendly competition. I also hope that it will continue for my years to come.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
whitefang257752 - I think all of the teams are great this year. They give it their best no matter what.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
whitefang257752 - I've participated in the AC three years in a row. My first year, on my old main, I joined HW{whoo!} and last year I joined DC, but didn't play hardly at all.
Which team do you think will win?
jakesway - Hmm...Who will win? Well team Shenkuu of course! Positivity is a lesson a ninja must know. A positive outlook is something everyone should have.
How are you showing support for your team?
bilked -I am showing support by changing by avvie, font, and even my lookup to cheer on Shenkuu. I even have a picture I have drawn myself on my lookup, which is my view of a 'scoremonster'.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
whitefang257752 - My favorite game is Yooyuball. I'm currently Rank 3 {lame, yes, I know} but I plan to be ranking up faster now that school is out for me.
Terror Mountain
Interviewed Person: hol123What team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I'm on Terror Mountain. I don't really have a reason for joining the team, I just did back in the second cup and stayed there. They're an awesome team.
What do you think are your team's strengths?
Shootout Showdown. We had a little streak going there, but it was defeated.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Yooyuball, which is a bit of a surprise because we've done well with it in the past.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
This is the best cup yet, and it isn't even the second round. No team is safe and no team can let their guard down, upsets are bound to happen.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
Most teams are doing great this year, keep it up!
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
I've been with Terror Mountain every cup starting from the second cup.
Which team do you think will win?
Krawk Island is looking very impressive and I think that they have the upper hand. It's still too early to tell though.
How are you showing support for your team?
Playing and being a regular on the boards.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
YYB is my favorite game and my current rank is 8. I'm aiming to be an All-Star.
Tyrannia
Interviewed Person: hornswaggler_rocksWhat team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
I'm a proud member of Tyrannia, of course. 8D If you ever see me on the Neoboards, it's pretty apparent. =3 I first joined this team mainly because my sister joined Krawk Island, and I didn't want to be with her. XD Now, it is my all time favorite team. I know nearly every person that gets on the boards well. We're a really close-knit team, and it's just a blast working with them.
What do you think are your team's strengths?
Side games, defiantly. Okay, Shootout Showdown isn't exactly our strong point, but we make up for it with MSN and SS. Most teams are wary of playing us in SS, as we're unofficially known as the champions there...x3 As of writing this, we've only lost once, which is consistent with last year's score. MSN also seems to be proving a great game for us. Our players work almost as much in MSN as they do YYB, or so I've seen. Most of all, though, I think our team makes up for any losses we get in sportsmanship and just having fun. We've had a few disappointments, but every time, another team mate comes on and pulls us to our feet again, and we're ready for whatever the next team has to throw at us.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
Probably YYB and SOSD, to tell the truth. We haven't fared wonderfully in those two so far. But hey, it's only the first round. Anything can happen, right?
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
So far, the ACIV has been the best Cup yet. Smaller teams (Us TWERPS) are making a huge comeback, staring all the powerhouses in the face. I'm glad to see so many willing team members, from every team, play their hearts out to help push their team to the top. Even if we don't win this year, I'm feeling that the smaller teams are going to shine, in one way or another.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
Unfortunately, a lot of the other teams are so busy playing, it's rare to see someone stop by to just wish us luck and give up a bit of time to talk. However, that's mainly seen in the larger teams, so we've gotten to know some of our fellow TWERPS fairly well. Every team has some excellent players, and even if there are a few people that bug everyone else, the teams make up for that quickly. Every team has their rough patches, and it's just important to be able to smooth them over as soon as they show up.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
I've been in the Cup all four years, including this one. I'm proud to say, I've been a loyal member of Tyrannia each year. 8D The first two cups I didn't actually play much, but last year, and this year, I've gotten onto the boards, played as much as my fingers will allow me, and I'm really having a blast.
Which team do you think will win?
As of now, I usually don't like to bother making a guess. It's anyone's game, really. Each team is doing awesome, and any one of them could move their way to the top. However, I have to say, Krawk Island is looking strong this year. Between them and Kreldor, it's bound to be a good fight.
How are you showing support for your team?
Well, being epic fail at everything but MSN...I just throw all I've got into that game. x3 I'm on the boards a whole lot to talk to anyone that's getting bored or losing motivation, and I try and perk 'em back up. XDD Really, I'm mostly moral support. You don't go very far just playing MSN, unfortunately.
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
Well, I can play MSN for a few hours on end, sadly...x3 It's an awesome game. When it comes to rank...you sure you wanna know? XDD Like I said, you don't get very far by playing MSN nonstop, so I'm still waaay below everyone else, stuck at beginner. I don't mind, to tell the truth. -shrug- Ranks are fun, but they don't worry me too much. I just wanna play! 8D

Interviewed Person: mythressWhat team are you on, and what was your reason for joining that team?
Space patriotic as I am I represent the team Virtupets, first I think the team should match your attitude and also fit to your virutal-neo-background. I myself own a Mutant Grundo so it's obvious pick as VP is his homeland. Then the evil Sloth stuff gets me excited too, to think of it, VP just has it all. And ofcourse, I was very tempted to join an underdog team, from all the underdogs, I believed (and still do) that VP has the most potential.
What do you think are your team's strengths?
Definitely the fact that we always work as team, theres no disobeying at all(and no, we'r not strict to our members, it's just everyone listens to everyone). Teamwork, organization and that we'r all lil' freaky, we got our +'s -'s but combined we make an ideal team. As in AC terms, Shootout Showdown has to be our strong point.
What do you think are your team's weaknesses?
The quantity. It's horrible how small we are, I'm more than sure we are the smallest team, while Altador has theyr 190 supporters and Faeries got probs tons of non-playing-non-supporting sign-ups, we VP most likely have below 50 members. Due to this, we'r extremely weak in YYB because the TNT system is odd and does seem to favour larger teams in YYB, doubt it's random.
Do you have any thoughts on the ACIV?
It's actually scary how unpredictable this Cup has been, Roo's fall, Mystery's up's and downs... It's all so odd. But I really do love it. VP is tryn' to get some recognition this year (as you know we haven't been to brilliant in past years) and aim for something higher next year.
Do you have any thoughts about the other teams?
Hmm.. I cant be precise because haven't been elsewhere but from the looks of it, Lost Desert has the loudmouthers and ego inflated people. Darigan seems ego also. The Krawks thing is overrated, theyr a good team, truly are. My own favourite team(beside VP ofcourse) is Shenkuu, awesome team, they been always very supportive to everyone. I like all small teams, we have little group called TWERPS going on and this way we can support eachother bit more. Beside loudmouthing, I like all teams. I really do.
What teams have you joined in the past, and how many years have you participated in the AC?
I have only played this year(IV) and the first Cup(I). Virtupets, both times, but it's true I didnt play in first year, I only signed up, I feel so shamed.
Which team do you think will win?
Krawk Island if you ask me, and they would deserve it.
How are you showing support for your team?
I play as much as I can, I'm really sacrificing huge amount of time from real life just for the Altador Cup, also I do my best to cheer them as much I can, yell at them as much I can to get them motivated against bigger teams and flooding the boards :)
What is your favorite ACIV Game & your ACIV Rank?
Bet you expect to hear SOSD, but actually I hate SOSD most, you know it's not as easy as people think, you can't turn off the sound... I find it extremely disturbing and murderish. My favorite is Yooyuball, it can be a nerve wrecker but it requires lot of practise. It can be funny too when the computer team acts dumb while other games are always the same and feelingless. I'm rank 7 right now.
